Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus capable of palletizing automotive disk wheels in a required shape, with no need of manual handling of the same.
CONSTITUTION: The automatic wheel palletizing apparatus of this invention comprises a chute 1 for feeding works A of automotive disk wheel successively, a dispensing means 4 for feeding these works A one by one onto aligning truck 3 having, for instance, three rows of work holding portions, a pusher 5 for shifting a predetermined number of works A aligned on the truck 3 through a predetermined pitch, an aligning pusher 6 for transferring works A aligned on truck 3 onto pallet 8, and a palletizing means 7 for stacking these pallets 8 carring thereon works A in a required number of stages by use of wood frames 15. In the above arrangement, said palletizing means 7 includes a plurality of forks 7a which can be inserted into the lower portion of wood frame 15 simultaneously from both sides thereof for suspending works A aligned thereon.
