Abstract

PURPOSE: To secure the high quality for both the sound quality and the picture quality, by giving the piled recording for the supplied 1st aural signal and the aural signal obtained delaying the 1st aural signal for a fixed time to the video signal and then giving the interpolation at the reproducing time to one aural signal with the aural signal of the other equivalent part through the delay of a fixed time given to the 1st aural signal.
CONSTITUTION: Aural signal (a) supplied through input terminal 2 receives the modulation of central frequency f1 via FM modulator 4. At the same time, signal (a) receives the modulation of central frequency f2 at modulator 5 via delay line 3. These aural signals of the two systems are added at signal adder 6 along with the video signal sent from input terminal 1 to be recorded on magnetic tape 16 via recording means 15. At the reproducing time, the output of reproducing means 17 is demodulated by FM demodulators 9 and 10 and through BPF7 and 8 of central frequencies f1 and f2 each. One signal is sent to signal switch circuit 12 via delay line 11, and the other signal is sent to circuit 12 via signal lack detecting circuit 18 each. Thus the continuous reproduction signals are produced. As a result, the high quality can be secured for both the picture quality and the sound quality.
