Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable to give the alarm indication to the user, by displaying the character or figure indicating the band name to the frequency display unit, when the band to which the called frequency belongs and the switching position of the band switching-over switch are not in coincidence. CONSTITUTION:The signal representing the frequency and the band name is stored in the memory unit with the operation of the memory button 21. The band signal from the unit 1 and the signal from the band signal generator 14 corresponding to the switching position of the band switching-over switch 12 are compared at the comparator 3. When the two band signals are in coincidence, the output signal of the comparator 3 drives the decoder 6 and the frequency signal is displayed on the frequency display unit 8 in numeral. If the band signal from the unit 1 and the switch 12 is not in coincidence, the output signal of the comparator 3 drives the decoder 5, and the character or figure representing the band name is displayed on the display unit 8. Simultaneously, digits are sequentially illuminated from the remotest digit from the digit for band name display of the display unit 8 at the timer circuit of the decoder 5 and alarm indication is given to the user.
