Abstract
PURPOSE:To decrease the torque pulsation in the vicinity of a synchronous speed, by controlling the phases of the voltage and current at the secondary side by the speed signal of an induction motor and by an operation status signal which commands the operation and regeneration, so that the power factor becomes approximately 1 in the vicinity of the synchronous speed. CONSTITUTION:The output signals from a position sensor 3 and a transformer 9 are inputted to a secondary-voltage phase detector 10 of an induction motor 2, and the output signals from a speed generator 4 and a speed control circuit 12 are inputted to a control-lead-angle command circuit 17. The outputs from the circuit 17 and the detector 10 are inputted to the secondary-side pulse-phase shifter 18 whose characteristics are such that the control-lead angle beta becomes large with the increase of a control signal Ecbeta in the region below the synchronous speed and S>0, and beta becomes small with the increase of Ecbeta in the region S<0; where S denotes a rotating speed as slippage. In this constitution, the phases of the voltage and current on the secondary side are controlled so that the power factor becomes approximately 1 in the vicinity of the motor and the operation status signal which commands the operation and regeneration, thereby the torque pulsation in the vicinity of the synchronous speed can be reduced.
