Abstract
PURPOSE: To detect even a small amount of leaked water with high accuracy by providing a fine displacement indication part which mechanically detects fine change in vertical movement of the float disposed on the surface of the water within the water reservoir and then displays the detected value.
CONSTITUTION: A disc-like float 3 movable in the vertical direction being guided by a center pole 2 is disposed on the surface of the water within a water reservoir P and the float 3 is provided with two parallel sliding rods 4, 5 extending therefrom upwardly. The sliding rods 4, 5 are provided with an intermediate sliding plate 6 and a pointer 14 to indicate a scale on a graduated tube 10. A dial indicator 12 is also provided at the side of the graduated tube 10. A dial indicator 12 is also provided at the side of the graduated tube 10 and a control lever 13 is pressed by an adjustment screw 16 of the intermediate sliding plate 6 so as to display its displacement on the dial. Thus, the leak of water can be detected with high accracy in such a manner that the level of water is previously set to the reference value on the scale or the dial and then the display on the dial indicator 12 is read out after lapse of proper time.
