Abstract

CONSTITUTION: When the pin 16 of the lens end face is engaged with the notched part of a ring 4, the ring 4 rotates to connect the 1st contact and 2nd contact of a switching plate 10, by which one of resistances R1WR3 is connected. Since the position of the pin 16 changes according to the focal length of the lens, the connection state of the resistances R1WR3 also changes. The photo detection of photo detectors P1, P2 causes the front curtain to run and the iris to be determined by an aperture decision circuit 22, aperture mechanism drive circuit 24 and front curtain running control circuit 26. The photo detection of photo detectors P3, P4 causes the rear curtain to run and the shutter second time to be determined by a shutter second time decision circuit 28 and rear curtain running control circuit 30. Thereby, the combination program of the shutter second time and iris according to the focal length of the lens is automatically determined.
