Abstract

PURPOSE: Title fiber that is composed of a mixture of block polyether amide composition and polyester as the core part and of a polyester as the sheath part, thus being frosting-free and showing high heat resistance, duration and antistatic property.
CONSTITUTION: The conjugate spinning is carried out using (A) a mixture of (a) block polyether amide composition and (b) a polyester as the core part and (B) another polyester such as polyethylene terephthalate as the sheath part wherein the proportion of the polyalkylene ether in component a is adjusted to 0.05W5wt% based on the total fiber. The core part and sheath part is annularly arranged and the ratio of the core part is preferably made to 5W50%. An example of component A is obtained by adding an organic electrolyte such as dodecylbenzene-sulfonic acid and phenolic antioxidant to a copolymer from polyalkylene ether diamine, dicarboxylic acid and polyamide monomer.
