Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide power transmission from one point of another in any direction, by radially setting at least three cranks at almost equal angles to drive and driven shafts, respectively and connecting each crank on both shafts through flexible strings.
CONSTITUTION: Three U-shaped cranks 4W4" are radially mounted on a drive shaft 1 of a power source 2 nearly at equal angles, while three cranks 5W5" are also attached to a driven shaft 3, each pair of corresponding cranks being connected with three flexible strings 6W6" through blocks 7W7" arranged at curves between said cranks 4W4" and cranks 5W5". This construction can transfer revolution of the drive shaft 1 smoothly to the driven shaft 3, regardless of the relative position of the driven shaft 3 to the drive shaft 1, thanks to the flexible strings 6W6".
