Abstract
PURPOSE: To suppress low-order harmonics to a DC trolly wire, by providing a plurality of combinations of pulse width modulation type inverters and vehicle driving induction motors and performing the multiple operation of the inverters looking from the DC sides.
CONSTITUTION: Induction motors 2a, 2b are combined with each other. Other induction motors 2c, 2d are also combined with each other. These induction motors are supplied with power from inverters 1a, 1b. A torque command 101 is added to the output signal 103' of an inverter output current detecting circuit 13' by an adder 7a. A deviation signal 104 is applied to a current controller 8, the output signal 105 of which is supplied to a mixer 10'. The inverters are driven by modulated outputs 109a, 109b. The rotational frequency of the motors is detected by tacho-generators 11aW11d. A mean output of the rotational frequency is supplied from a mean value generation circuit 12' to another adder 7b. The modulated outputs 109a, 109b are provided with such a phase difference that the DC-side fundamental waves of the pulse width modulation type inverters 1a, 1b are disposed at the same interval and same frequency.
