Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the occurrence of the unevenness of weld zone seam in the captioned welding by detecting the state containing weld zone current pulsations, takinh this detected curreitn as a heat input control quantity and controlling the weld zone current constant.
CONSTITUTION: The supply of high-frequency current to the work coil 10 installed to the front stage part of squeeze rollers is accomplished by the constitution of as AC control part 11 which converts AC to voltage-controlled DC, a high-voltage DC part 12 which smoothes this DC, an oscillation part 13 which self-oscillates with the high- voltage DC as a powder source and a resonance circuit part 14 which takes the resonance matching of the high-voltage AC current of the oscillation part 13 and the coil 10. Namely, function generators 15W18 generate the correction functions corresponding to the deviations between the set values and detection values at plate thickness t, feed speed v, current i based on welding load changes and welding temperature θ, thereby correcting the high-frequency voltage e and making the welding current i constant.
