Abstract
PURPOSE:To avoid the collision of signals by providing the signal delay element and the gate circuit to the end office repeater, cutting off the signals addressed to the self-office not to transmit them to the next part of the data way and then inhibiting the repeating of the data sent from other offices if the self-office is under transmitting. CONSTITUTION:The signal sent from optical fiber 301 is demodulated through light emitting element 302 and amplifier 303 and then transmitted to other end office not shwon in the diagram via delay circuit 307, light emitting element 313 and optical fiber 314 each. In case the signal from fiber 301 is addressed to the self- office, the address extracted through address ectraction circuit 304 inhibits gate 310 via address comparator circuit 306 in order to prevent the subsequent data from being sent to fiber 314. While the transmission data from the self-office is being sent to fiber 314 from terminal 311, the state signal sent from terminal 309 inhibits gate 310 to stop the repeating of the data sent from other offices via fiber 301.
