Abstract
PURPOSE: The title composition with a high solid content capable of giving dried films free from attack by diluting solvents, comprising a latex high polymer, a water-soluble or dispersible monomer, and a photosensitizer.
CONSTITUTION: (a) A high polymer latex consisting of a (CO) polymer having a number-average molecular weight ≥ about 10,000, e.g. vinyl acetate, acrylates, and α-olefin, is incorporated with (b) a water-soluble or dispersible monomer, e.g. α-hydroxyethyl acrylate or polyethylene glycol diacrylate, having an ethylenically unsaturated double bond, and (c) a photosensitizer, e.g. benzoin ethyl ether or 1-naphthalenesulfonyl chloride. Preferably, the weight ratio of the ingredients (a) to (b) is about 9:1W1:9, and the amount of the photosensitizer (c) is about 0.001W5 wt.% based on the dispersion system.
