Abstract

PURPOSE: To delete the noise and thus to obtain a high-contrast picture by controlling the threshold voltage above the panel by means of the relay, photo coupler or the like in case the analog picture is binary-coded.
CONSTITUTION: The peak value of the analog picture signal is held at capacitor 2, and the proper threshold voltage is obtained through voltage division resistance 71∼74. The threshold voltage and the analog picture signal are compared through comparator 5, thus the binary-coded output being drawn out. The voltage division is controlled by switching relay 9 via switch 8 on the panel with no wiring of the signal given onto the panel. The threshold voltage can be varied smoothly by controlling the brightness of LED above the panel with use of the photo coupler in place of the voltage division resistance.
