Abstract
PURPOSE: In consturcting four columns of a shaft furnace, to provide a method comprising the steps of forming four colums in the length of the operating floor unit, fixing the same by a floor plate, fitting handrails and the like at preselected positions to form blocks, and laminating fixing said blocks on and to each other, thereby constructing the four columns in a short period of time and easily.
CONSTITUTION: Perpendicularity (centering) and level degree (leveling) of each of four columns are sought beforehand, and four columns are formed into blocks on the temporary assembled stage 4 in each floor unit of the operation floor unit of the shaft furnace. The length of each of four columns 6 is formed in each operation floor unit of the shaft furnace, and columns are fixed by a floor plate 8 provided with an open hole 7 penetrating through a shaft furnace shell. Simultaneously, handrails 9 and other equipments 10 are fitted at predetermined positions, and formed into blocks at respective operation floor units. The four columns thus formed into blocks are heaped up successively from the lower part by means of a climbing crane 1, and assembled. Since the four columns thus formed into blocks are heaped up and fixed to each other, the works are energy-saved, and the construction of four columns of the shaft furnace is completed in a short period of time.
