Abstract

PURPOSE: A hot runner mold which is manufactured easily and designed to operate properly with little leakage of molten resins.
CONSTITUTION: A molten resin is fed from the sprue 3 to the hot block 1 and the main runner 4, then distributed to a plurality of the runners 5. At the time of mold closing, the resin is injected into the carities 7 in the cavity block 2 facing the gates 6 at the ends of the runners 5 by its pressure via the openings 8. Force is applied to the intermediate blocks 2b in the direction to separate from the fixed members 10 by the plural springs 12 held in the holes 13 between the fixed members 10 and the blocks 2. During the mold closing, the intermediate blocks 2b are pressed and brought into close contact with the fixed members 10 against said force by the mold clamping pressure.
