Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it easy to bent an optical fiber cable and to understand the arrangement of cores by helically winding optical fiber groups, which are made into a tape shape by bundling a plurality of optical fibers formed to have a smaller width than the length of the outer circumference of an anti-tension member, upon the rod- shaped anti-tension member.

Thus, it is possible to prevent the core from being broken for the bending operation and the tesion applying operation and the tension applying operation when the resultant cable is to be laid.
