Abstract

PURPOSE: To suppress the variation of center frequency of a FM discriminator small, and to obtain the easily-manufactured constitution, by detecting the variation of the amplitude of a high-frequency FM signal and by chaning it into two signals different in polarity.
CONSTITUTION: In the FM discriminator of the microwave band, a microwave input signal is divided by divider circuit 1 into two, which are supplied to two dielectric resonators 2 and 2'. Some of the input, on the other hand, branched 6 and detected 7 before being changed into two signals different in polarity via DC amplifiers 8 and 8', and they are applied to discriminator diodes 4 and 4' as a bias voltage. As a result, since the variation of the susceptance of diodes 4 and 4' can be suppressed small even if the variation in level of a microwave, the center frequency of the FM discriminator is stabilized without using a limiter, and its output is extracted from terminal.
