Abstract

PURPOSE: When operating a plurality of switching elements having self-extinguishing ability in parallel through simultaneous firing, to equalize switching loss by providing control circuit comprised of flip-flop and mono-multivibrator.
CONSTITUTION: Pulses 1, 2 for determining thrn-on and turn-off timing of switching elements are provided to flip-flops FF3, 5 and its output is provided together with pulse 2 to AND gates 8, 9 to produce alternative firing pulses 10, 11 which are passed through mono-multivibrators 12, 13 then provided together with the output from FF3 to OR gltes 16, 17 to be used as switching control signal. When firing two switching elements simultaneously, distinguishing timing is delayed by the width determined alternatively at mono-multivibrators 12 and 13, thereby turn-off loss is born alternatively by two elements resulting in equation of the loss.
