Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide an air conditioner which enables air conditioning with a stable feeding and reduction in air noise by controlling the revolutions of the blower for feeding air into the plenum chamber to chek change in the pressure within the chamber.
CONSTITUTION: When blower 3 is rotated, an air heated is fed to a plenum chamber 5. The pressure in the chamber 5 is detected with a pressure detector 20. The output is compared with the reference voltage of a setting device 21 by means of a comparator 22 and amplified at 23 to be inputted to a motor 24 of the blower 3. As a result, the revolutions of the motor is controlled so as to check the pressure change in the plenum chamber 5. With such an arrangement, the pressure change can be checked regardless of the number of gate valves 10 whereby a constant amount of hot hair can be invariably supplied to respective rooms. This eliminates concentrated flow of hot air to some air conditioning ducts 6, thereby reducing air noise
