Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus for ventilating room air, capable of efficiently discharging unclean air produced during some operation in a room divided into a plurality of sections, and supplying fresh air into the room uniformly throughout the entire space of the same.
CONSTITUTION: In order to ventilate air in a room 1 divided into a p?urality of sections with a pair of partitions 2, 3, a first air deflecting plate 4 is provided on the inside of upstream opening 2a formed in either one of said partitions 2, 3, and a second air deflecting plate 6 is provided on the inside of downstream opening 3a formed in the other of the partitions 2, 3. Further, there is provided a conduit 11 which is connected to the downstream opening 3a or other opening located further downstreams of the opening 3a and is capable of drawing air through the opening. A thru-hole 4a having a diameter smaller than that of the upstream opening 2a is formed in the first deflecting plate 4, and a plurality of small holes 6a are formed in the second deflecting plate 6. With such an arrangement, air in the room can be ventilated efficiently
