Abstract

PURPOSE:To shorten the holding time of an originating register trunk with the need of a special-tone sending circuit for this trunk eliminated, by making a reset when the final numeral of a called-party number is different from the numeral of one number and by performing a camp-on operation when equal. CONSTITUTION:In memory circuit CMEM, a called-party number sent from a calling party is stored, and in memory circuit DMEM, a single-numeral number sent from the calling party continuously while the called party is busy is stored, thereby attaining comparison COM between the final numeral of the called-party number and the single-numeral number. Then, when the final numeral of the called-party number does not agree with the single-numeral number, a reset or shift call is made and when they agree each other, a camp-on process is done. Originating register trunk ORT, therefore, needs neither a special-tone sending circuit nor stopping function, so that the holding time of trunk ORT can be shortened.
