Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the follow-up property without providing a power supply control circuit for forward hysteresis and reverse hysteresis, by controlling the turn- on and turn-off of a power source for a heater in consideration of not only an upper and a lower temperature limits but also a temperature gradient.
CONSTITUTION: When the temperature of a line is lower than the lower limit at the time of starting, a turn-off signal is produced by a comparator circuit 22 and a turn-on signal is produced by another comparator circuit 23 and applied to a hold circuit 26 to turn on the power source for the heater. As a result, the temperature is gradually increased. The temperature gradient under the heating is set by a division circuit 16 and applied to a subtraction circuit 18. When the temperature gradient under the heating is smaller than the measured temperature gradient of the line, the hold circuit 26 is reset to turn off the power source for the heater.
