Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the characteristics of exhaust gas, fuel cost, etc., by interrupting and connecting the interlocking of fluid joints in response to operational conditions, in a device that interlocks a plurality of engines by means of fluid joints. CONSTITUTION:The output shafts 2, 6 of the same first second engines 4, 8 are fromed in interlocking-possible shapes through a fluid system joint device 14, and a driving shaft 12 is connected to the second engine 8 through a transmission 10. The fuel injection valves 32, 24 of each engine are controlled by the signals of an air flow sensor 18 input to a computer 36 and a rotational frequency sensor 40. A functioning device 16 for feeding the discharging working fluid to the device 14 is disposed to the joint device 14 while the device 16 is controlled by means of the computer 36, the joint is interrupted when the load of the engines is low, and the joint is connected when the load is high, thus excellently improving the output characteristics.
