Abstract

PURPOSE: To enhance reliability by controlling bleed air amount only by engine revolution rate.
CONSTITUTION: A carburettor 5 is so set that, when bleed air amount is large, the minimum value of fuel consumption rate is under the allowable lean limit of the engine. A solenoid valve 4 comprising a valve body 23 is so arranged that its tip valve portion 23a faces to an auxiliary air passage 28 connected so an air passage 22 of a main body boss portion 5a of the carburettor 5, and is made controllable by a revolution rate detection unit 1. When bleed air amount is large, the engine revolution rate range where fuel consumption rate is under the allowable lean limit is detected; in the range, the bleed air amount is made relatively small and the fuel consuption rate is made over the allowable lean limit. Thus mixture gas does not become too thick over a wide revolution rate range, and the purpose is achieved.
