Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the sudden change of the amplitude by giving the interpolation to the amplitude of the pulse row random noise as well as to enhance the quality of the compounded voice by providing the coexisting section for the pulse row and the random noise at the time point of switching between the voice and slience.
CONSTITUTION: At the voiced time, each amplitude information of 0-level is delivered to terminal 18 from terminal 17; and the amplitude information is delivered to terminal 18 of 0-level from terminal 17 respectively. At the same time, the interpolation is given via interpolation circuits 19W22 to the spectrum information of terminal 4, the pitch cycle of terminal 5 plus the amplitude information of the voiced and silent components given from terminal 17 and 18 respectively, thus ensuring a smooth variation. In other words, the interpolation is given to the amplitude of the pulse row random noise to prevent the sudden change of the amplitude. At the same time, the coexisting section is provided between the pulse row and the random noise at the switching time point between the voice and silence. As a result, the quality of the compounded voice can be enhanced.
