Abstract
PURPOSE:To end copying of a required number without stopping copying on the way at the continuous copying despite detection of a minimum developer concentration by providing a minimum developer concentration detecting part, a copying operation disabling circuit and a continuous copying holding circuit. CONSTITUTION:While not in continuous copying, the output of a set counter 15 is H level and therefore as toner concentration lowers and when an output is emitted from a minimum developer concentration detecting part 2 where there is no toner in the toner replenishing part, then an AND circuit 13 opens to apply a signal to a copying operation disabling circuit 4, thus causing the apparatus to stop. Next, when there is no replenishing toner at the continuous copying, the signal is emitted from the minimum concentration detecting circuit part 2, but the output of the set counter 15 is L level and therefore the AND circuit 13 does not open and the continuous copying continues in that state. The AND circuit 13 opens only when the continuous copying ends and the output of the set counter 15 becomes H, then the copying operation disabling circuit 4 operates to disable the copying.
