コイル巻回用胴部の軸線方向の一端部付近から該コイル
巻回用胴部の径方向の外側に突出した起立壁と該起立壁
の先端部から前記コイル巻回用胴部と反対側に突出する
ように設けられて前記起立壁側に位置する後端部が該起
立壁の一部をなす底壁部により閉鎖された筒状の高圧コ
ード保持部とを一体に有する絶縁樹脂製の一次ボビン
と、前記一次ボビンの高圧コード保持部の後端部を閉鎖
する底壁部を貫通し、かつ先端を前記高圧コード保持部
の先端側に向けた状態で取り付けられた二次端子金具
と、前記一次ボビンのコイル巻回用胴部に巻回された一
次コイルと、前記一次ボビンのコイル巻回用胴部を外側
から取り囲むように設けられた二次ボビンに巻回されて
一端が前記一次コイルの一端に接続され、他端が前記二
次端子金具の後端部に電気的に接続された二次コイル
と、前記一次コイルが巻回された一次ボビンのコイル巻
回用胴部と起立壁と高圧コード保持部の少なくとも一部
とを前記二次コイルが巻回された二次ボビンとともに収
容したケースとを備え、前記ケース内に絶縁樹脂が注型
されている内燃機関用点火コイルにおいて、 前記一次ボビンの起立壁の前記二次ボビン側の面に、前
記高圧コード保持部の後端部と前記一次コイルの前記起
立壁側の端部との間の沿面絶縁距離を増大させるための
溝が形成されていることを特徴とする内燃機関用点火コ

次端子金具の後端部に電気的に接続された二次コイル
と、前記一次コイルが巻回された一次ボビンのコイル巻
回用胴部と起立壁と高圧コード保持部の少なくとも一部
とを前記二次コイルが巻回された二次ボビンとともに収
容したケースとを備え、前記ケース内に絶縁樹脂が注型
されている内燃機関用点火コイルにおいて、 前記一次ボビンの起立壁の前記二次ボビン側の面に、前
記コイル巻回用胴部の径方向に沿って並ぶ複数の第1の
溝と、前記二次端子金具の後端部を取り囲む環状の第2
