Further, in the case of the type having a batch temporary holding section in the apparatus, the deposited banknotes are temporarily held in a batch, so that the banknotes can be continuously fed to the return section and returned. Because it is the same as the transport path at the time of money, return bills that do not need to be identified must also be returned by passing through the withdrawal identification unit in the same way as withdrawal bills. It takes much time to return it as well as it has, and the incidence of troubles such as jamming also increases. Also, at the time of storage, it is transported through the second return transport path, is re-identified by the identification unit, and is then stored in the denomination storage unit, so that it takes time to store as in the case of the return, In addition, there is a problem that the occurrence rate of troubles such as jamming increases.
