(Function) Therefore, in this conveyor configured as described above, in order to paint the workpiece or article 13, the hanger is supported on the conveyance frame 10 of the electric trolley 1 at a speed of about 20 m/sec. The workpiece or article carried by the frame 14 and transferred from the direction of arrow A is stopped at the A position of the electric trolley (or wheels 17) by cutting off the power supply to the trolley wire 3 before the processing chamber 4. At the same time, it stops at position A'. Next, the lift mechanism 24 is activated, and the attachment 2, which was previously in the ``ro'' position, is
By raising the lifting rail 18 integrated with 8 to the A position and further raising the attachment, the lifting rail lifts the wheel 17 to the C position, so that the workpiece or article 13 is placed in the C' position, and the transport frame 10 is disengaged from the hanger frame 14, and if the trolley wire 3 is energized in this state, the electric trolley 1 runs on the monorail 2, passes above the processing chamber 4, and completes the processing. The workpiece or article 13 coated in the chamber is stopped at a position where it is suspended from the transport frame 10 of the electric trolley.

Next, the lift mechanism 24 is operated in the opposite manner to the above, and the lifting rail 18, which had been in the position C, is moved.
If it is lowered to the B position, that is, to the same level as the fixed rail 19, the work or article 13 that was in the C' position will be brought to the B' position. Therefore, when the endless belt drive mechanism 5 is operated, the endless belt 22 is circulated in the direction of arrow B, and the engaging member 23 of the endless belt engages with the shaft 16, so that the wheels 17 run on the lifting rail 18. At the same time, the workpiece or article 13 is transferred to the fixed rail 19 and transported into the processing chamber 4 to be painted.
Even if the inside of the processing chamber becomes a bad atmosphere such as a flammable or ignitable atmosphere due to painting, the transport of the hanger frame 14 is carried out by the endless band drive mechanism, so no spark is generated, so there is no risk of explosion. This enables safe and reliable painting work.

Next, the hanger frame 14 carrying the coated workpiece or article 13 is stopped when it comes to the upstream side of the processing chamber 4 by the operation of the endless band drive mechanism 5, and the hanger frame 14, which is carrying the coated workpiece or article 13, is stopped when it comes out to the upstream side of the processing chamber 4.
4, the hanger frame is suspended from the transport frame 10 in the reverse order, and by resupplying power to the trolley wire 3, the electric trolley 1 runs on the monorail 2 and moves to the next process.

(Effects of the invention) From the above, according to the invention, a processing chamber for painting is provided at a predetermined location on the conveyance line, and until then, the conveyance is carried on a hanger frame suspended on an electric trolley. Since the workpieces or articles that have been washed are removed from the electric trolley together with the hanger frame and passed through the processing chamber by an endless belt drive mechanism, even if the atmosphere becomes flammable or ignitable due to painting work, Since the electric trolley is not energized, no spark is generated between the trolley wire and the collector, and explosions can therefore be prevented, allowing the prescribed work to be carried out safely and reliably. It is effective.
