(Prior art) In regions with heavy snowfall in winter, disposing of snow accumulated on the roofs of houses is always a problem, and not only does it require a large amount of manpower to remove the snow, but it is especially difficult to remove snow from the roofs of houses, especially in densely populated areas. More effort is required to move the fallen snow to other locations.

One way to deal with this problem is to collect the snow from the roof in a dump truck, move it to a nearby river, dump it from the bridge into the river, and let the snow move or melt naturally with running water. Although measures are being taken, problems often occur where excessively dumped snow blocks running water or freezes, paralyzing the river's running water function.

The basic structure of the snow melting device of the present invention is a net shelf made of a synthetic resin monofilament net. The synthetic resin monofilament network referred to here is made by melt-spinning synthetic resins such as polyester, polyamide, and polyolefin in the usual manner, and stretching and heat-setting as necessary.
Monofilaments of 0.5 to 5.0 mm, particularly 1.0 to 4.5 mm, are woven to have a rhombic or tortoiseshell mesh. The mesh size of this network is arbitrary, but usually there are 9 to 1000 meshes in a 30cm square.
Particularly suitable is one that can accommodate 18 to 800 pieces. Note that it is particularly recommended to use a mesh having a hexagonal mesh because the strength of the mesh shelf is excellent. Furthermore, in order to further increase the strength of the net shelf, metal wires may be woven together with the synthetic resin monofilament when weaving the net-like body.

Next, the structure of the snow melting device of the present invention will be explained with reference to the drawings. Figure 1 is a cross-sectional view showing the snow melting device of the present invention installed on both sides of a bridge in winter, and Figure 2 is a cross-sectional view showing the snow melting device of the present invention installed on both sides of a bridge during the period of no snowfall, with the shelf of the snow melting device in Figure 1 moved to the upper part and fixed. It is a sectional view showing a state.

The snow melting device 1 of the present invention consists of a pillar 2 fixed upright from a river bed 8 of a river 7, a net shelf 3 that is movable up and down along the pillar 1, and a net shelf 3 that is movable up and down along the pillar 1.
It essentially consists of a fixing device 4 for fixing the device to the support column 2 at an appropriate height.

The snow melting device 1 of the present invention is installed on at least one side of a bridge 5 spanning a river 7. That is, a support post 2 is fixedly installed in parallel with the bridge girder 6 from the riverbed 8, and a net shelf 3 made of a synthetic resin net is attached to the support post 2 so as to be movable up and down.
It can be easily laid by fixing it to the support column 2 at an appropriate height using a fixture 4 such as a stopper.

The net shelf 3 in the present invention is made by bending and shaping a synthetic resin monofilament net into an appropriate shape, and sewing or binding the overlapping portions of the net with synthetic resin monofilament or fixed filaments such as metal wire. It means a box-shaped net basket with the above-mentioned opening. The planar shape of the net shelf 3 can be selected from any shape such as rectangular, circular, oval, triangular, and quadrangular, and the size of the planar surface can be arbitrarily designed depending on the width of the river where it is installed. However, if the planar shape of the net shelf is too large, the amount of snow to be dumped will increase accordingly, and there is a risk that the net shelf itself will break due to the dumping of a large amount of snow, so it is usually 1/4 of the length of the bridge. It should be kept to about 1/2 the size.

First, as shown in Figure 1, during the winter season with heavy snowfall, at least the bottom of the net shelf 3
The height of the net shelf 3 is adjusted so that the net shelf 3 is at a position lower than the water surface 9, preferably, the entire net shelf is under the water surface, and the net shelf 3 is fixed at that height with a fixture 4. In this state, for example, the snowpack loaded on a dump truck etc. is moved from the top of the bridge to the net rack.
When dumped, the snowpack 10 is deposited on the net shelf 3,
The water flow of the river 7 that enters through the mesh of the net shelf 3 hits this and melts the snow while pushing it downstream, so the water flow is not blocked or the water surface does not freeze, and the snow melts, that is, the snow mass disappears. It is done effectively.

In addition, during seasons such as summer when there is no snowfall,
As shown in Figure 2, if the net shelf 3 is moved to a position above the water surface 8 of the river 7 and fixed in that position, it can be used as a safety net shelf to prevent children from falling or drowning. can be expected.

(Effects of the invention) As explained above, the snow melting device of the present invention can be used as a means of dumping snowpack into rivers, especially in areas with heavy snowfall, by removing snowpack without damming or freezing river water. Because it can effectively melt snow and has excellent durability,
This is highly effective in reducing labor in snowy regions and maintaining the living environment on roads and their surrounding areas.
