It consists of several stacked parts made of wood, and the end wall of each part except the top one is higher than the side wall. This vegetation block is characterized in that the end wall of the upper part is placed on top for support, and that the width of each part becomes smaller as the part goes up.

It consists of a third part 3 and a third stage part 4. Each part is made of precast concrete, including a pair of opposing side walls 2a, 3a, 4a and a pair of end walls 2b, 3b, 4b.
It is integrally formed into a substantially quadrilateral shape. As shown in FIG. 3, the width of the parts in each stage becomes smaller as the parts go up. The side walls 2a, 3a, and 4a have an outwardly inclined and overhanging shape to increase the area for planting plants and to efficiently receive sunlight. The first end wall 2b and the second end wall 3b are formed higher than the side walls 2a and 3a, respectively.
Since the width of the parts is smaller in the upper tier, a window-like space is created between the upper and lower side walls of each tier, and by filling this with earth and sand, it becomes the soil surface for planting plants. . In this case, it is necessary that the angle α of the soil filling surface does not exceed the angle of repose of the soil to be filled. When stacking parts, stack the parts on the bottom.
The gable wall of the upper part is placed on the gable wall of the upper part for support. That is, as shown in Figure 2, the first
The second tier end wall 3b rests on the tier end wall 2b, and the third tier end wall 4b rests thereon. This can be said to be a sufficiently stable structure due to the weight of each part, the weight of the earth and sand filled, the internal friction angle, and the adhesive strength. The reason why the end walls 2b, 3b, and 4b are formed to become thicker toward the bottom is to facilitate demolding of the mold during manufacturing.

ある。 As shown in FIG. 3, if the inside of the vegetation block 1 is filled with earth and sand and planted with various plants, the planted area will be much larger than the area occupied by the block. It also has good rainwater absorption efficiency, and water that cannot be absorbed by the upper stage is sequentially sent to the lower stage and absorbed.
Construction is extremely simple, just stacking factory-produced parts on a stable base of soil, concrete, etc.
