Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase durability of a multiple disk clutch without producing any stickslip and/or seizure by providing oil holding grooves and one or multiple convexes positioned between these grooves in the surfaces of an wet type multiple disk clutch. CONSTITUTION:A multiple disk clutch is provided with a housing 1 and hub 3 positioned relatively and rotatably and inner clutch plates 9 and 11 engaged with splines 5 and 7, respectively. The inner and outer clutch plates 9 and 11 form oil holding grooves 13 and 15 for holding lubricating oil and convexes 17 and 19 between these grooves on their surfaces, respectively. Since oil is also held between the clearance between respective convexes 17 and 19 of the opposed two clutch plates, large amount of oil is held to lubricate the surfaces sufficiently. Thus, the durability of a multiple disk clutch can be extremely improved without producing any stickslip and/or seizure.

の摩擦係数が一定となり、多板クラッチの押圧力Pと伝
達トルクTの関係であるP−T特性の変化が極めて小さ
くなり、多阪クラッチの性能が安定する。
