Abstract

PURPOSE:To make manual operation unnecessary by discharging unused printing paper automatically to an area outside a printer by a paper feed command signal after detection of 'no paper present'. CONSTITUTION:Paper 2 is set at a tractor wheel 1. After the setting, the paper 2 is a sent by a transmission mechanical section 3. If 'no paper 2 present' is detected by a paper detection section 4, printing is allowed within a range where it is possible, and then a drive signal is connected to a paper feed drive section 6 from a control section 5.
