25を介して水平に延びる抜止め杆26が第3図
にも示すように突設されており、この抜止め杆2
6は開口突条22の内径寸法より長く、この開口
内を通して上方に抜出さないようになつている。
27は蓋体15aの上面に突設した3本の支持突
条で、これらが凹所21の周囲に等間隔かつ放射
状に設けられ、やかんやなべ16の底面を安定に

かかる場合には、その異常圧力によつて安全弁2
3の重力に抗して塞板24が押し上げられること
になり、開口突条22から塞板24が浮上し、こ
れらの間隙からその異常圧力が逃げることにな
る。したがつて、その異常圧力が直接蓋体15a
に作用してこれを吹き飛ばすという事故を未然に
防止できる。なお、この場合に上記なべ16は支
持突条27上にあつて、これらの間が大気と連通
しているため、上記異常圧力を逃がす作用を阻げ
るものではない。また、塞板24の最大浮上時で
もこれがなべ16の底に当たることがないよう
に、この塞板24と抜止め杆26との距離を選定
しておく必要がある。なお、上記防爆動作後の塞
板24の戻りを確実化するために、凹所21の下
面と抜止め杆26との間に弱い戻しばねを介在す

による異常な圧力上昇を自動的に抑制でき、蓋体
の飛散や燃焼筒の破損などに基づく諸々の危険を
未然かつ有効に防止することができるという優れ
た効果を発揮するものである。また、これを暖房
器として利用した場合、蓋体の上にやかん、なべ
等を載置しても、前記安全弁は蓋体の凹所に設け
られているので、前記安全弁の機能を損なうこと
なく安全性を確保することができ、安心して実用
