[Prior Art] Conventionally, in a foundry, there is an operation of inverting a flask or a mold as a procedure that must be carried out before and after molding. Furthermore, when the mold is turned over after molding, the procedure requires the operator to regularly clean and finish the inner surface of the mold in this state.

The casting flask usually has a gripper called a handle protruding from the outer wall of the flask, and the most common method is to use a hoist or hoist to wind the wire or chain around the handle and turn it over. Figure 8 I to H are diagrams showing this step by step, in which the chain 10a, which is suspended by the hook H of the hoist C, is wound around the hand T of the mold M, and lifted up in I to C, and then vertically lifted. It cuts through the ground and uses the recoil to advance to (2), then flips upside down and hangs above the floor to complete the inversion. In addition, in many cases, a reversing device (jig) is specially installed and appropriated. For example, Figure 9 A, B, and C are examples of roll-type reversing devices, and The upper and lower sides of the mold M are held by hydraulic cylinders 12, and the rolls 13 are rotated 180 degrees to reverse the mold and send it to the next roller conveyor 11.

In addition to this, there is a conventional technology that utilizes the function of a reversing device other than a hoist, either by itself or in conjunction with the action of a hoist, to invert the mold. (Fig. 10), "Flame reversal mold matching device" (Utility Model 159948, 1983)

[Problem to be solved by the invention] The reversing action using only a hoist and a chain (or wire), which has been most commonly carried out in the past, requires prompt and skilled manual work by each worker as a so-called sling action. Even so, there is always the risk that the mold may break due to the shock and vibration that occurs at the moment the mold is reversed, or that the hanging tool may come off and injure the worker.
Also, the selection of the board 14 in FIG. 8 requires skill, and if an inappropriate selection is made, the above-mentioned danger is further exacerbated.

In addition, in almost all cases, the many dedicated reversing machines such as those shown in Figures 9, 10, and 11 can demonstrate their power by being incorporated into the process of a mass production line that mainly consists of molding machines. It is something.

In other words, these methods can only be applied to standard casting flasks with fixed dimensions, and their application is completely unthinkable in general large foundry foundries that are made to order and mainly produce a wide variety of products in small quantities.

Another practical bottleneck in foundries that mainly handle large-scale castings is the manual handling of molds after they have been turned over. In normal molding procedures, workers must crawl under the mold to repair or finish the inside surface of the inverted mold (the surface that will become the casting surface after pouring), and for this purpose the worker must climb under the mold by lifting it with a hoist. Either the mold must be held in the air until the mold is finished, or the mold must be suspended from large blocks or supports placed at the four corners. The former mode is prohibited as it would result in serious personal injury if the chain were to be severed.
The latter aspect occupies a large amount of floor space and may significantly reduce workability. The larger the mold, the more serious this problem becomes.

[Means for Solving the Problems] The mold reversing and supporting device according to the present invention includes two rails laid in parallel on the floor and two wheels rolling on each rail. Two main body frames are placed side by side so that they can be seen from each other freely, and each main frame has a fulcrum stand at one end that forms a concave curved surface with a semi-cylindrical tip, and separately at both ends. The above problem was solved by pivoting the L-shaped pillars so that they could rise and fall freely.

FIG. 2 shows a state in which a target mold M is being placed on the apparatus of the embodiment of the present application, and two handholds protruding from the sides of the flask are placed on the concave curved surface 5 at the tip of the support base 4. Place one of T A and T B on hand. The outer circumferential surface of the hand-held T A is shaped like a round bar, and it fits in with the concave curved surface 5 to provide stable support. Third
The figure shows that after tilting the flask completely onto both concave curved surfaces 5 and loosening the chain 10,
This shows the moment when T B is about to be rehanged and lifted.
Figure 4 shows that as this lifting progresses, the mold M is placed on the fulcrum stand 4.
In Fig. 5, the reversal is completed and the upper and lower surfaces of the flask are reversed, the hook H of the hoist is descending downward, and the flask is rotated horizontally.

[Effects of the invention] As described above, the invention of the present application enables the reversing of the flask to be carried out safely and accurately, regardless of the skill of the worker and without being constrained by the dimensions of the flask. . After being inverted, the mold is supported at a desired height, and the worker can finish or repair the inner surface of the inverted mold at that position. In this case as well, since the supports are L-shaped, even if the width of the flask changes, it can be supported at the four corners. (Changes in the length of the casting flask can be accommodated by changing the distance between the main frames.) It has the ability to be an extremely powerful jig for foundries that handle many large molds at the same time in a limited work area. .
