【考案の詳細な説明】 [産業上の利用分野] 塗装用エアースプレーガンの空気キヤツプに係
り、とくに霧化した塗料が空気キヤツプの前面に
付着することを防止しようとするものである。

用したものにおいては、いまだ解決されていなか
つた。すなわち、第6図における空気キヤツプの
場合、シート部1が塗料の噴出ノズル2の中心に
対し、球面上に形成されたシートを有しており、
中心空気孔3との同心を維持するため、その精度
を必要とするスプレーガンにとつて、最適な構造
となつている。この方式においてはこの球面の径
を、より小さくすることも重要な条件であり、た
めに先端部と空気キヤツプ外周面との前後距離が
小さくなつている。したがつて、中心より円錐形
で空気キヤツプ面を形成した場合、外周部に至り
平行面4が残つた形状となつていた。この平行面
4が円錐面の前方へ突出した状態となつているた
め、渦流を生じ、塗料付着に対する条件を悪くし
ていた。また、角部13′にあけられる空気孔1
4′は、加工上平面又は凹面にあけられており、
空気を噴射すると、その開口面においても乱流渦
が生じ、塗料付着を引き起こしていた。

た。したがつて、比較的短時間のうちに塗装作業
を中断し、清掃することを余儀なくされていた。
本考案は、このような問題に対し、より長時間連
続塗装が可能となる空気キヤツプを得ることを目
的としている。

面に付着することがほとんどなくなる。

あつてもよく、最適角度は、その他の条件によつ
て若干変動する。

キヤツプとの比較では、同程度の塗料付着となる
まで10数倍の時間を要した。したがつて、塗装作
業時のメンテナンスが大巾に削減され、塗装不良
の心配なしに時間の塗装が可能となつた。

キヤツプ。 2 円錐面の角度は、130゜〜140゜とした前記実用
