Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate a painting process at a site and to facilitate formation of an arbitrary beautiful pattern by a method wherein a waterproof filling material layer, a pattern transfer printed layer, and a protection layer of weather resistant plastic are formed, in order, on a base material. CONSTITUTION:Water resilient paint, e.g., acryl series emulsion, or organic solvent series paint using at least one kind of resin of acryl series and polyvinyl chloride series is coated on a base material 1 for armor, e.g., an ALG sheet, a GRC sheet and is dried. A surface is polished to form a layer 2 of a waterproof filling material, where necessary. Further, a primer 5 is coated, where necessary, and after pattern printing 3 is effected by transfer, a weather resistant plastic protection layer 4 using fluorocarbon resin is formed on the surface thereof. Filling is applied on an armor material, polishing is effected, where necessary, to smooth a surface, patterning is facilitated, and incurring of a material loss is reduced.

軽量発泡コンクリート(ALC)、ガラス繊維強化コン
クリート(GRC) 、窯業パネルまたはポリカーボネ
ートなどを用いた外壁の化粧は、般に塗料の吹きつけ塗
装によって行なっている。 吹きつけ塗装はミストが発生して作業環境が悪く、足場
付近に塗装ムラができやすいし、塗膜の養生に長時間を
要するという欠点がある。 また吹きつけ塗装では、簡
単に絵柄を設けることができず、美麗な意匠をもった外
装をすることは難しい。 そこで、現場で塗装を行なわなくてもよいように、あら
かじめ外装材の表面を着色したものがある。 しかし、
この外装材は、表面に一種類の色をつけただけであって
、絵柄のないものであり、美麗な意匠をもった外装材に
対する要求をみたせない。 [発明が解決しようとする課題] 本発明の目的は、美麗な絵柄をもつ外装用化粧材および
その製造方法を提供することにある。 [課題を解決するための手段] 本発明の外装用化粧材は、第1図に示すように、外装材
の基材(1)上に、防水性目止め材の層(2)、絵柄の
印刷(3)および耐候性プラスチックの保護層(4)を
順に設けてなる。 本発明の外装用化粧材の製造方法は、第2図ないし第5
図に順を追って示すように、外装材用の基材(1)に防
水性と目止め機能をもつ塗料を塗布し、乾燥させて平滑

などから、目的、用途に応じてえらぶ。 防水性目止め
材の層は、化粧材に防水性をもたせるとともに、美麗な
絵柄が設けられるよう基材とよく密着し、その表面の凹
凸を埋めて平滑面を形成するために設ける。 このような条件にあうものの代表のひとつは、水性弾性
塗料である。 好適な水性弾性塗料の例をあげれば、ア
クリル系エマルシコン、アクリルスチレン系エマルジョ
ン、アクリル−酢酸ビニル系エマルジョンおよびセメン
トフィラーエマルジョンなどである。 いまひとつは溶
剤系塗料であって、たとえばアクリル系、アクリル−ウ
レタン系およびポリ塩化ビニル系の少なくとも1種の樹
脂を有機溶剤に溶解したものを用いる。 これらには、
充填剤、安定剤、難燃剤、紫外線吸収剤などを必要に応
じて添加してもよいことは、もちろんである。 塗布は、ロールコート、ナイフコート、フローコート、
はけ塗りまたはスプレー塗装など既知の手段で行なえば
よい。 表面の平滑さが十分でないときは、研摩を行な
う。 絵柄の印刷は、前記のように転写による。 転写シート
の製造には一般の印刷インキを使用することができるが
耐候性のあるインキたとえばアクリル樹脂または塩ビー
酢ビ共重合体/アクリル樹脂をビヒクルとし、それに適
宜の顔料を分散させたものを使用することか好ましい。 防水性の目止め材の層と絵柄を形成したインキとの接着
力が弱い場合は、既知の技術に従ってプライマーを塗布
してから絵付けを行なう。 絵柄の印刷を転写による場合に使用する転写シートも、
とくに制限はなく、既知のものでよい。 たとえば、ポリプロピレン、ポリエチレンまたはポリエ
チレンテレフタレート、とくに2軸延伸ポリプロピレン
を、上質紙に積層したもの〔第4図中(31))を基材
フィルムに使用した転写シー1〜が、転写性にすぐれ、
安価でおる。 絵柄の印刷は、グラビア印刷、シルクス
クリーン印刷またはグラビアオフセット印刷など既知の
手段でよい。 耐候性プラスチックの保護層は、耐汚染性、耐摩耗性お
よび耐スクラツヂ性などの表面物性もすぐれたプラスデ
ックで形成するとよく、そのようなプラスチックとして
はアクリル樹脂、アクリルウレタン樹脂およびフッ素樹
脂がある。 とくにフッ素樹脂が好ましく、その例をあ
げれば、ポリビニリデンフルオライド、ポリメタクリル
酸メチル、エチレン−テトラフルオロエチレン共重合体
などでおる。 保護層の厚さは50〜100μ程度で足
りる。 絵柄層以下の層の耐光性を向上させるため、保
護層に紫外線吸収剤を添加することが好ましい。 保護層の形成は、上記のプラスデックをビヒクルとする
塗料を塗布するか、またはプラスチックフィルムをラミ
ネートすることによって行なう。 絵柄の印刷の転写と同時にラミネートをしてもよい。 [作 用] −様な品質の絵柄を大量に形成する技術といえば当然に
