クテーブルに対して若干の距離をおいて設けられ
ている。したがつて前記スペースには中継コンベ
アのような中継手段が必要であり、従来は中継コ
ンベアがワークテーブル側に付属して設けられて
いる。ところが、これらの各コンベアは例えばロ
ーラコンベアで形成される場合が多く、ワークテ
ーブル上のワーク加工時に切粉等の飛散物が周囲
の中継コンベアや搬送コンベアに付着するので、
この飛散物が各コンベアの内部にかみ込んでその
機能が損なわれるため、コンベアの保守管理が面
倒であるばかりでなく、搬送するワークに傷を付
けるおそれもある。さらに、ワーク加工時の安全
を維持するためには、ワークテーブルと搬送コン
ベアとの間に開閉扉を必要とするものであるがこ
のような開閉扉は独立した設備であるからワーク
加工時には閉鎖し、ワーク搬送時には開放するな
