This member called a temporary ink reservoir member has an ink reservoir groove having a comb-like shape in its longitudinal section, and a slit-shaped ink groove communicating with this ink reservoir groove,
The mechanism is that when the pen tip and the ink tank are directly connected, the pen tip is closed by changing the volume of air in the ink tank due to changes in air pressure and temperature. It is also well known that the purpose of this method is to eliminate the drawbacks of ink dripping from the ink tank, or conversely, ink flowing back into the ink tank.

Since the temporary ink reservoir member is interposed between the pen nib and the ink tank, the distance from the ink tank to the pen nib becomes longer. If more members are interposed, the number of connections between the members increases, and the ink connection at these connections must be good, and the distance from the ink tank to the pen tip becomes longer, so the above problems are also avoided. growing.

る。 In FIG. 1 showing an embodiment of the present invention, reference numeral 1 is a flat pen nib having an appropriate ink passage 1a (the figure shows its flat surface), and reference numeral 2 is a flat nib having an appropriate ink passage 1a. The tip has a gripping part 2a for gripping the nib 1 from both sides, and a fitting part 2b whose inner surface is formed to match the outer diameter of the flat pen nib 1 for fitting and fixing. Chip 2
The fitting portion 2b has a cylindrical outer shape, for example, and is inserted and fixed into the tip hole 3a of the tip holder 3 by appropriate means such as press fitting, concave-convex fitting, adhesive, screwing, etc. The tip holder 3 has a tip hole 3a.
The ink guiding member 4 made of a porous material such as a synthetic resin foam, a sintered body of synthetic resin, or a fiber bundle is inserted into the center hole 3b by press-fitting, loose-fitting, or gluing. The ink guiding member 4 is in contact with the rear end of the flat pen nib 1 that protrudes rearward from the inner surface of the fitting portion 2b of the tip 2.
Here, the ink guide member 4 may be one in which two or more types of members are arranged in series or in parallel. Incidentally, reference numeral 5 is an O-ring made of rubber or the like interposed in a deformed state to maintain liquid tightness. In addition, a slit-shaped air hole 3c is formed on the outer wall surface of the chip holder 3 that is screwed onto the main body, but the chip holder 3 can be attached to the main body by press fitting, adhesive, uneven fitting, etc. The air hole 3c is optional, and may be provided in an appropriate shape at an appropriate position on the main body side, for example.

A so-called pipe-type ballpoint pen body is formed by holding a ball at the tip of a pipe-shaped tip and inserting a thin rod made of a synthetic resin extrusion molded body into the pipe-shaped tip, or a ball is inserted into a bullet-shaped tip. A variety of pen nib structures have been adopted, such as ballpoint pen bodies that use general water-based ink, and so-called resin pen bodies that are made of extruded synthetic resin. It is also good,
The tip holder 3 itself may be a component called a tip or pen nib holder.

材4′を用いたものである。 Now, in FIG. 1, the ink guide member 4 inserted into the central hole 3b of the tip holder 3 has its rear end 4a protruding from the central hole 3b, and the rear end 4
a is an external member 6 having a comb-like ink reservoir groove 6b formed by a large number of plate-like protrusions 6a, and an appropriate number of slit-like ink grooves 6c and air grooves 6d communicating with the ink reservoir groove 6b; , a tip 7b of the inner member 7 of the temporary ink reservoir member comprising an inner member 7 having an appropriate number of slit-like ink passages 7a.
is in contact with Here, as the temporary ink reservoir member, for example, an internal member 7 made of porous ceramic material is used.
Basically, the material and shape can be used regardless of the material and shape, such as those using a In the embodiment, the tip 7b) of the inner member 7 is pointed, so that it contacts the rear end 4a of the ink guiding member 4 in a barbed manner. That is, in FIG. 1, the tip 7b of the internal member 7 has a pointed portion shape such as a conical shape, a polygonal pyramid shape, or a blade shape. The rear end 4a is in the expanded state and the internal member 7 is
It will come into contact with the tip of. Note that the rear end of the ink guiding member 4 may be in an expanded state in advance, or, although not illustrated above, the ink guiding member 4 may be formed of, for example, a synthetic resin extrusion molded body, and the rear end 4a may be expanded.
Measures may be taken to facilitate the pierced contact, which is a term that includes the word "pinch", such as by providing a slit in the surface. Furthermore, when the rear end 4a is actively expanded by the tip 7b of the internal member 7, as in the case of the ink guide member 4 made of a fiber convergent body, the capillary force of the ink passage in that part increases. This may result in
Although it has the advantage of increasing ink holding capacity, it also causes a decrease in the ability to guide ink to the destination, so if desired, it is recommended to
As illustrated in the figure, a space may be formed in advance in which the rear end of the ink guiding member 4 can be freely expanded. That is, in FIG. 1, as described above, the rear end 4a of the ink guide member 4 protrudes from the central hole 3b of the tip holder 3, and
The tip 7b of the internal member 7 is arranged not to be located substantially ahead of the rear end surface of the tip holder 3. In addition, in FIG. 2, the tip holder 3
A large diameter portion is formed at the rear end of the central hole 3b of the chip holder 3, and the tip 7b of the internal member 7 is arranged not to be located substantially ahead of the rear end of the small diameter portion of the central hole 3b of the chip holder 3. Alternatively, in order to prevent the capillary force at the rear end 4a of the ink guide member 4 from increasing due to the barbed contact, the space serving as the ink passage may be made larger in advance only at the rear end 4a. FIG. 3 shows an example of this, in which a separate member 4' is used.

速やかになるという効果を奏することができる。 As described above, the writing instrument of the present invention is a writing instrument in which an ink guide member made of a porous material is interposed between the pen tip and the temporary ink reservoir member, and
The tip of the temporary ink reservoir member is pointed and touches the rear end of the ink guide member in a prickly manner, so it prevents poor connection between parts due to manufacturing variations, drops, shocks during transportation, etc. In addition to good ink connection due to the suppression, ink movement from the temporary ink reservoir member to the ink guiding member occurs from the rear end of the ink guiding member to the front, albeit slightly, and ink movement in the ink guiding member itself. Since the delay inside the ink guiding member can be suppressed compared to the outer surface of the ink guiding member, air will accumulate inside the ink guiding member (if ink enters the ink guiding member, the air that was present in the ink guiding member will be However, this air is incompletely expelled and accumulates inside the ink guiding member...particularly when ink movement on the outer surface takes precedence over ink movement on the inside).
Therefore, the ink can be efficiently moved through the ink guide member, and these various factors can produce the effect that the ink can move quickly from the ink tank to the pen tip. .
