Many parts are assembled using bolts; for example, on the front body, outer panel parts such as the front fender and hood front balance panel are assembled using bolts. In addition, in hatchback vehicles, the backdoor is bolted to the roof panel via a hinge.

た。 Conventionally, in order to prevent rain leakage and rust prevention in areas where bolting is used to connect parts such as those mentioned above, tape-like materials or elastic or plastic materials cut or molded into shapes that match the joints have been used. It may be sandwiched with a patch made of . However, due to the elasticity or plasticity of conventional gaskets, it is difficult to maintain a constant tightening torque when tightening bolts, and as a result, there is often the problem that over-tightening causes the gasket to protrude from the joint, resulting in poor appearance. . In addition, these gaskets are usually used when assembling a white body, and then are coated with an electrocoated undercoat and a topcoat, so the rubber elasticity decreases or plasticity increases due to the thermal history of each paint drying oven. This often results in problems such as deformation, inability to maintain the initial torque setting, and poor sealing performance at joints, as well as leakage and rust. Further, at this time, if the gasket protrudes as mentioned above, there is also the disadvantage that rust is likely to occur from that part because the paint cannot be applied to the lower part of the protruding part. Furthermore, the rubber elasticity of the seal decreases or plastically deforms over time, resulting in a decrease in torque, which reduces the sealing performance of the joint and causes rain leakage and rust. This is a frequent problem, especially in the hinge portion of the rear door of a hatchback vehicle, and a fundamental solution has been desired.

Although glass can be used alone or in combination, experience has shown that the use of ceramic materials or glass materials is particularly good, with no rust caused by electrolytic corrosion.

Further, the particle size is suitably smaller than the thickness of the elastic or plastic body. Furthermore, the arrangement of the spherical bodies may be on the entire surface or in parts, and it is desirable to determine this after testing (Fig. 3). Furthermore, since the spherical bodies have the property of becoming more oriented by tightening due to their shape, their arrangement may be random or, for example, the spherical bodies may be kneaded into an elastic body in advance and then molded (FIG. 5). Furthermore, the same effect can be obtained regardless of whether it is placed inside the elastic or plastic body, placed near the surface of the elastic or plastic body, or placed on the surface of the elastic or plastic body. (Figures 6 and 7).

い。 Since the present invention has the above-mentioned configuration, when it is not used, it is sufficient to carry out ordinary bolt tightening work, that is, as shown in Fig. 8, the present invention is used between the parts to be joined. Just insert the packing and then tighten the bolts. At this time, when the bolt is tightened, the joint part comes into contact with the spherical body, and since the spherical body has rigidity, it plays the role of a spacer to maintain the gap, so the tightening torque is constant, and moreover, it is possible to tighten more than necessary. Since there is no elastic body or plastic body sticking out (Fig. 9). Further, since the joint is a metal member-spherical body-metal member and no elastic or plastic body is interposed between them, there is no loss of torque due to heat history or age, and no deterioration of sealing performance occurs.
