〔産業上の利用分野〕
本考案は圧縮空気により塗料を霧化し塗装を行

均一を生じ折角の噴霧制御が好ましからざる結果

りとることによつて、パタン形成用の空気割合に
応じて常に適した補助空気量を得られるようにす
ることを目的としたものである。

空気溜と連通しパタン形成用空気口からの噴射流
が塗料噴射軸線と衝突する前にパタン形成用空気
口からの噴射流と衝突するよう開口させた補助空
気口を塗料噴射軸線に対し対向抗位置に設けるこ
とにより前記した問題点を解決するものである。

にはパタン形成用空気口11が夫々対向して形成

れ、一方はノズル3部先端の中心空気孔8より噴
出し、ノズル3の塗料噴射口9より噴射された塗
料を微粒化するとともに、他方はパタン形成用空
気口11より噴出し微粒化された噴霧流をして塗
装に適した噴霧パターンに形成する。以上は公知
のエアースプレーガンの作用であるが、本考案に
於ては、空気通路12を二分し、中心空気孔8に
連通する中心空気路13と、パタン形成用空気口
11に連通する角空気路14とするとともに、該
角空気路14には空気溜16が設けられ補助空気
口17が空気溜16に連通していることにより、
空気通路12より二分され角空気路14へ導かれ
た圧縮空気は空気溜16を通つて補助空気口17
より噴射されるとともに、同時にパターン形成用
空気口11よりも噴射され、該パタン形成用空気
口11からの噴射流yが塗料噴射軸線xと衝突す
る前に補助空気口17からの噴射流zが衝突す
る。即ち、パタン形成用空気口11より噴出する
空気流に補助空気口17より噴出する空気流を衝
突させることによりパタン形成用空気口11から
の噴射流を巾広い噴流として塗料噴霧流に衝突さ

て増減し、常に最高の状態でパタン形成用空気流
と衝突し、その噴流の勢いを緩和することがで
き、その状態で中心部分を通る塗料噴霧流に当る
ため、従来の如く高圧吹付時にパタン中心部が薄
くなる中割傾向を招かずパタン形成が好適にしか
も安定して行なわれる。

空気口を前記塗料噴射軸線に対し対向位置に設け
