Abstract

PURPOSE:To achieve improved working safety and product accuracy by fixing a glittering portion on the edge portion of a periphery of window glass by means of a glittering portion fixing tool and then forming a frame body with the abovementioned assembly placed in a mold and a frame body material poured into it, so that the entire glass assembly is formed integrally. CONSTITUTION:A glittering portion fixing tool 4, such as a clip, is fitted on the edge portion of the periphery of window glass 1, and a glittering portion 3, such as sus mold is fixed on the edge portion by means of this tool. Then, the window glass 1, having the glittering portion fixing tool 4 and the glittering portion 3 fitted thereon is placed in a mold in such a manner that a space for the formation of a frame body is created over the peripheral portion of the window glass 1. Subsequently, a frame body material is poured into this space to form a frame body 2. In this manner, the frame body 2, the glittering portion fixing tool 4, the glittering portion 3 and the window glass 1 are integrated into a single body.

In the method of manufacturing a window glass with a frame by gluing or fitting a frame separately formed by extrusion molding etc. to the peripheral edge of the window material, the frame formed in a straight line is attached to the peripheral edge of the window glass. Since the window glass is attached while being bent to fit the window, there are problems such as wrinkles at the corners and difficulty in attaching the window glass when it has a complicated shape. Compared to this,
In addition to solving the above-mentioned difficulties, MAW products have good bonding properties between the frame and the window material, and there are fewer seams between the frame (also, the frame is relatively thin and has little difference in level from the surface of the window material). It has the advantage of being possible.

One of the reasons why MAW is used as windows for automobiles is that it provides fluid engineering and appearance effects due to the above advantages. For example, it is used for opera windows, side windows, roof windows, rear windows, etc. It is also used as a fixed window such as a front window. Furthermore, the application of MAW to movable windows such as door windows is also being considered.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] By the way, in automobile window glasses, etc., a shiny part made of metal such as SUS is attached to the frame part to match the appearance with the structure and improve the aesthetic appearance. This may be required. There is an adhesive method for attaching the bright part to the window glass of the frame material later, but there is a possibility that it will come off due to vibration or impact. For more secure mounting using tools, it is necessary to install the tools in advance on the frame etc. so that the tools do not come out on the surface due to appearance issues, and the number of steps increases, so it is difficult to do so. A MAW that is integrally molded including the bright part is desired.

In this case, the bright part is installed in the mold in advance, and then the glass is placed in this mold and the mold is tightened to fill the space for the frame formed between the mold and the glass periphery. A possible method is to pour a frame material such as synthetic resin and integrally mold the glass, frame, and bright part. However, in order to attach the bright part to the mold, the worker must put his body inside the mold, and in order to attach the bright part to the mold with good dimensional accuracy in such a working position, There are considerable difficulties and there are also safety issues.

[Means for Solving the Problems] The inventors of the present invention conducted research in accordance with the above intention, and found that a method of attaching the bright part to the glass and arranging it inside the mold, rather than the mold, is easier for the operator. I came up with the idea that this is easy and that dimensional accuracy can be ensured, and I was able to arrive at a structure of a MAW having a bright part and a manufacturing method thereof that can realize this.

Further, as a method for realizing the present invention having the above structure, a window glass provided with a frame is placed in a mold, and a frame material is injected into the peripheral edge of the window glass and solidified. In the manufacturing method for window glass, first, a fixture for the bright part is attached to the edge of the periphery of the window glass, then the bright part is fixed to the fixture for the bright part, and the fixture for the bright part and the bright part are installed. By placing the window glass in a mold, providing a space for forming a frame at the periphery of the window glass, and injecting frame material into the space, the frame, the fixture for the bright part, and the bright part are formed. The present invention provides a method for manufacturing a glass with a frame having a glittering part, which is characterized in that the glass is integrally molded with the glass.

FIG. 1(a) is a partial sectional view showing the structure of a specific example of the present invention, in which 1 is glass, 2 is a synthetic resin molding, 3 is an SUS molding, and 4 is a clip. The clip 4 is attached to the glass, and the SUS molding is integrally molded with the molding 2 of the frame while being fixed with this clip. In the present invention, the frame 2 is integrally molded by placing the clip 4 on the glass 1 and placing the SUS molding 3 on the clip 4 in a mold. Details of the manufacturing method will be specifically explained in the Examples section below.

In the example of FIG. 1(a), a clip 4 is used as a fixture for the bright part.
In addition to the method of fixing with several clips, a method of fixing to the glass 1 with a continuous fastener may also be used. The bright part may be made of metal such as SUS molding, or -yfz/e shown in Fig. 1(b).
As in another specific example, it may be one in which the SUS molding 3 and the PVC lip part 5 are integrally molded by extrusion molding, or if it includes a part made of other shiny materials, The material is not particularly limited.

And since the worker does not have to put his or her body inside the mold,
In addition to being highly safe, there is a high possibility of process automation. Furthermore, the work of setting the glass bright part is easy and the installation is highly accurate, so the resulting product is also highly accurate. This ease of mold matching is effective in preventing scratches on the bright parts of SUS moldings and the like and in preventing glass breakage. Furthermore, in the present invention, the bright parts of the SUS molding etc. are manufactured in a separate process, and can be manufactured with high precision. SOS mall etc. P
According to the method of manufacturing a structure having a lip part such as VC by extrusion molding etc. in advance and attaching it to the glass as a bright part with a fixing tool, a lip of SUS molding is attached to the upper and lower parting parts of the mold. Since it can be placed through the frame, it is possible to prevent the appearance of undesirable flakes from forming on the outer surface of the product, and the frame itself is not visible.
The selection of the frame material depends only on its functionality (the appearance does not matter too much. Also, the material of the lip part can be different from the material of the frame part, so Similarly, suitable materials can be used for the lip portion.

) in the mold 6. As shown in FIG. 2(b), the clip 4 and S are connected by the core 7 and the cavity 8.
A window glass 1 with a US molding 3 is sandwiched, a cavity space 9 is formed at the periphery of the window glass 1, and a softened vinyl chloride resin is injected into the cavity space 9 from a gate 10 as a frame material. By solidifying this frame material in the cavity space 9, the frame 2, the SUS molding 3, the clip 4, and the glass 1 were integrally formed with good adhesion. After the solidification was completed, the mold 6 was removed as shown in FIG. 2(c), and a frame-attached glass having the 5LIS molding 3 of the present invention could be obtained. The dimensional accuracy of the product was very high, and there were no scratches on the surface of the SUS molding.
