若しくはミラーステーと車体間に補強部材を介装
してミラーステーの振動防止が図られている。ミ
ラーステーと補強部材との取付手段としては、取
付容易等のために多くの場合、結合金具を介して
取り付けられているが、結合金具によるものにあ
つては、走行時の車体の振動等により結合金具が
緩み移動しないよう強固に取り付ける必要があ
り、従来は一般に、第3図に示す如き結合金具が
用いられていた。この従来の結合金具24は、一
端部に、その幅方向に円筒材で形成されたミラー
ステー2を抱持すべく、ミラーステー2の径より
やや小径の半円状の内周面を有する抱持部27,
28と、他端部に、補強部材3の端部に形成され
た偏平端部3aを狭持すべく設けられた取付部2
9,30とを、左右略対称に形成した二個の結合
金具構成部材25,26とからなり、これら二個
の結合金具構成部材25,26は、何れか一方の
結合金具構成部材(図示例においては25側)の
抱持部27先端中央部に抱持部27の延長円周上
に位置すべく一体に延設された先端側が幅広の台
形状膨大凸部31aと、他方の結合金具構成部材
26の抱持部28の先端部に台形状膨大凸部31
aが嵌合するよう形成された台形状膨大凹部31
bとからなる接合部31を嵌合せしめることによ
り接合するよう構成されており、両結合金具構成
部材25,26を接合し、抱持部27,28によ
りミラーステー2を抱持せしめ、締付ボルト14
により取付部29,30間に補強部材3の偏平端
部3aを狭持固定せしめることによりミラーステ
ー2に補強部材3を取り付けるようなつている。
したがつて、両結合金具構成部材25,26は接
合部31の当接面のみによつて接合されている構
造のため、接合強度を高めるためには、素材の板
厚を厚くする必要があるが、板厚を厚くした場
合、結合金具24の重量が増加し、重量軽減を図
る必要を有する場合には用いることができないと

よう形成された膨大凹部とからなる接合部を備え
た結合金具において、少なくとも前記接合部の縁
端部に沿い外側方向に補強片を立設してなり、こ
の両補強片は、嵌合する前記膨大凸部と膨大凹部
の縁端からそれぞれ略垂直に所定高さで同一形状
に対向設され、嵌合により面接合されることによ
つて、接合部に当接面の拡大を図り、もつて、重
量を増加することなく接合強度の増大を図ること
が可能な結合金具を提案することを目的としたも

た、上述の実施例においては、接合部11に設け
られた補強片12,13と一体的に両結合金具構
成部材5,6の両側縁端部、抱持部の先端部にも
補強片12,13が立設されているため、接合部
11の補強片12,13に変形等が生ずることな
く、この部位の補強片12,13が十分な強度を
