で、従来の装置のようなパターン認識のための専用のタ
ーゲットおよび特定の照射光源を必要とすることがなく
なり、装置をM潔に構成し得るとともに、その設置およ
び保守・点検作業も極めて簡単になるという優れた効果
を奏する。

2画面以上の画像を記憶する画像記憶手段と、 該偏光角の異なる画像間の明暗濃度の変化に基づいて路
面の乾燥状態と湿潤状態を判定する路面状態判定手段と
からなることを特徴とする路面状態検知装置。
