されている。 A vertical conveyance device that clamps and conveys an article between an opposing belt and an elastic belt is disclosed in, for example, Japanese Patent Publication No. 47-7580 or Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 55-55.
This is well known as disclosed in Publication No. 96810 and the like. According to such conventional devices, when the article to be conveyed is large or the conveyance speed is extremely high, the elastic belt may not be able to stretch properly, causing damage to the belt itself or causing damage to the elastic belt. There are still problems that need to be improved, such as excessive force being applied to chains and other driving endless bodies that are connected to both sides of the chain and circulated together, which can damage the endless bodies. .

2 is a facing belt, and 2 is an elastic belt having elasticity in the width direction. Opposing belt 1 and elastic belt 2
are circularly driven, for example, in the directions of arrows by a drive device (not shown), and convey the article W upwardly or downwardly by sandwiching the article W between adjacent portions of both belts 1 and 2.

is driven by a chain with rollers 3a or other driving endless bodies 3, 3 running in fixed guide rails 4, 4 arranged on the outer side of the elastic belt 2. The edge portion and each endless drive body 3 are connected by a large number of attachment pieces 5 provided at intervals in the length direction, that is, in the running direction. That is, the outer end of each mounting piece 5 is pivotally connected to the connecting piece 3b protruding from the drive endless body 3 by a pin 6, and the inner end of each mounting piece 5 is attached to the elastic belt 2. The upper bolt 7 and the nut 7a overlap the side edges of the upper bolt 7 and the upper bolt 7a, or any fixing means such as rivets are used to secure the cover to the side edge of the cover. The structure in which the outer end side of the mounting piece 5 is pivotally attached to the driving endless body 3 is such that when a load, that is, an article W is sandwiched between the opposing belt 1 and the elastic belt 2, the end of the elastic belt 2 Since the elastic belt 2 can be tilted by a certain angle θ from its original position, it is effective to prevent damage to the elastic belt 2. It may also be simply fixed without being forced.

In between, the elastic belt 2 has an outwardly convex fold-like slack 2a. In the illustrated example, the pleat-like slacks 2a are provided between the adjacent mounting pieces 5, 5, but it goes without saying that they may be provided at arbitrary intervals, such as every other.

化するためのものである。 In the figure, reference numeral 8 denotes flexible and thin reinforcing belts arranged endlessly in the longitudinal direction on both side edges of the elastic belt 2.
The elastic belt 2 is fixed to the elastic belt 2 by wrapping around each side edge of the elastic belt 2 and sewing, gluing, riveting, or the like.
This configuration is intended to strengthen the ends of the elastic belt 2, which tend to fray easily.

Each end of the reinforcing band 9 in the width direction is overlapped with each side edge of the elastic belt 2, and the bolt 7 is attached to the mounting piece 5. It is preferably detachably attached by any fixing means such as a nut 7a. This reinforcing band 9 is provided as necessary, and is provided when the weight of the article W to be handled is large.

が向上する。 When the elastic belt 2 holds the article W, the fold-like slack 2a provides sufficient room for expansion, so that excessive force acting on the elastic belt 2 itself can be released. Consequently, no excessive force is applied to the driving endless body 3. Therefore, the durability of the elastic belt 2 and the endless drive body 3 is improved.
