Abstract

PURPOSE:To produce the subject glove having thin and uniform coating film at a low cost by scattering a powder-molding vinyl chloride compound to a rotating mold of glove heated at a specific temperature, melting the applied powder and curing the product. CONSTITUTION:A powder-molding vinyl chloride compound (a mixture of 100wt.% of PVC, 20-120wt.% of plasticizers, 3wt.% of stabilizers and 1wt.% of pigments) is scattered and attached to a rotating forming mold for glove heated at a specific temperature (about 200 deg.C). The powder melted on the forming mold is heated at 220 deg.C for 2-10min to cure the outer coating film and the product is cooled to obtain the objective glove.

(Prior art) Conventionally, work gloves made of a vinyl chloride film have been produced by dipping a glove mold into a vinyl chloride paste to form a coat of the paste on the outside surface of the mold, and then curing and molding. So-called dip molding is the mainstream.

However, in the above-mentioned dip molding, the film is formed by applying vinyl chloride paste to the outer surface of the glove mold, so the paste adheres more than necessary and the film becomes thicker. At the same time, the vinyl chloride paste partially drips or pulls due to the glove-shaped external shape.
The thickness of the film could not be made constant, and parts that were thicker than necessary or parts that were thin and weak were sometimes formed.

Furthermore, after the work, a large amount of vinyl chloride paste remains in the dipping tank and is wasted, resulting in a large amount of raw material loss.

(Means for Solving the Problems) In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the vinyl chloride work gloves of the present invention are produced by rotating a glove mold heated to a predetermined temperature, A vinyl powder molding compound is spread, and a required amount of the vinyl chloride powder molding compound is adhered to the outer surface of the mold, melted, and then cured.

The film is formed to a predetermined thickness on the outer surface of the mold by melting a vinyl chloride powder molding compound in a proportion to the temperature of the mold. Therefore, the heat from the glove mold is not sufficiently transferred to the excess vinyl chloride powder molding compound that is sprinkled on top of the film that has reached a predetermined thickness, so it is not melted, and as the mold rotates, it is not melted. The powder is removed by falling from the outer surface of the film as a powder.

(Effects of the Invention) As described above, the present invention involves attaching a vinyl chloride powder molding compound to a glove mold heated to a predetermined temperature and forming a film while melting it. 4. Compared to molding, the film can be formed thinner because no extra raw material is attached during film formation.
Furthermore, since this prevents the raw material from dripping or shrinking, it is possible to make the thickness of the film uniform.

In addition, by adjusting the heating temperature of the mold, it is possible to accurately control the thickness of the film formed in a molten state on the outer surface of the mold, making it possible to freely set the thickness of the work gloves. It is possible.

Furthermore, the vinyl chloride powder molding compound that is removed from the mold without being melted can be reused many times, so there is less loss of raw materials. Therefore, compared to vinyl chloride paste used in dip molding, it is much easier to handle during operations such as collection and clearing. Furthermore, by adding a foaming agent to the powder molding compound, foam gloves can be made and gloves with high heat retention can be obtained.

The above-mentioned vinyl chloride powder molding compound (a'') can be evenly applied to the entire outer surface of the mold (B) by spreading it evenly while rotating the mold (8). The vinyl chloride powder molding compound (a'') attached to the mold (B) is melted by the heat of the mold (B), forming a thin film (a') on the outer surface of the mold (B).

Since the film (a') is in a molten state, it becomes thicker as the vinyl chloride powder molding compound adheres to it, but when it reaches a predetermined thickness, the heat from the mold (B) is no longer sufficiently transmitted to the outside. After that, even if the vinyl chloride powder molding compound is sprinkled on the film (a'), it will no longer melt, and the film (a') will not melt as the mold (B) rotates.

Thus, the film (a) formed on the outer surface of the mold (B)
The wall thickness of the work gloves (A) is determined by the temperature of the mold (B), and therefore, the desired thickness of the film (a) of the work gloves (A) is determined by the temperature setting of the mold (B). This makes it possible to form the structure precisely.

The above-mentioned film (a') is formed by gradually melting the unbound polyvinyl chloride powder molding adhering to the molding die (B), so it is less dense than that produced by dip molding, which has a lot of excess adhesion. The thickness is thin, which prevents sagging or shrinkage and maintains a uniform thickness.
