〔産業上の利用分野〕
本発明は表示装置に係わり、特にショウウィンドウに設
置され、外光の明るさに応じて表示面の輝度を自動的に

従来のこの種の表示装置にあっては、表示面の輝度は外
光の明るさに応じて調整するように構成されていなかっ
た。すなわち、表示装置の表示面の輝度は一定の輝度に
固定されているか、または表示面に直射日光があたって
いる場合、直射日光があたらない場合、夜で周囲が暗い
場合のそれぞれに対応する三段階程度に制御されるのが
