Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate an accident imparting an electric shock to a user or bringing about the malfunction or damage of an apparatus to be mounted by preventing the charging of a cassette with electricity, by applying a paint containing a conductive fiber to the inner surface part of the cassette. CONSTITUTION:As a conductive paint, a metal fiber such as a stainless steel fiber or a carbon fiber cut into a length of about 0.3-1.0mm is mixed with a commercial general paint before use. The conductive paint 12 is applied to the inner surface part of a cassette 1, that is, the inner surfaces of both of a case main body 2 and a case cover 3. When this ink ribbon cassette is mounted on the carriage of a printer to operate the printer, static electricity is generated by the friction between a printing head and an ink ribbon 6, that between a supply reel 4 and the case main body 2, that between the case main body 2 and the ink ribbon 6, that between the brake material 10 and the ink ribbon 6, and that between a post 11 and the ink ribbon 6 but corona discharge takes place from the layer of the conductive paint 12 to prevent the charging of the cassette 1 with electricity.

Inside a cassette case of an ink ribbon for a printer, a running path of the ink ribbon is formed, with a portion exposed to the outside from the supply reel to the take-up reel to come into contact with the print head. Also, in the case of an audio tape cassette case, the tape running path is configured in substantially the same manner. These cassette cases generally consist of a case body and a case cover, and are made of non-conductive material such as plastic. The cassette case, ribbon, tape, etc. may become charged due to friction between the tape and the ribbon or tape, and friction between the cassette case and the reel.
If the user touched the Kasetsu electric shock case, there were cases where the user received a ≠ call → or the CPU device malfunctioned or was damaged.

Conventionally, this charging problem has been solved by using a ground wire or a ground wire in the control circuit.
A solution to this problem has been to electrically process the problem by providing a capacitor or a shield plate, but this has the disadvantage of making the circuit structure complicated and large, resulting in increased costs.

The present invention aims to achieve the above object by providing a cassette case characterized in that a paint containing conductive fibers is applied to the inner surface of the case in which a running path for tapes, ribbons, etc. is formed. It is something. Here, as the conductive fibers, metal fibers such as stainless steel fibers, carbon fibers, etc. can be used. Also, commercially available general paints can be used, and the above-mentioned conductive fibers are coated with a thickness of 0.3 to 1.0 m.
It is sufficient to mix in pieces cut into pieces of about m size.

In the present invention, since the inner surface of the case is coated with a paint containing conductive fibers (hereinafter referred to as "conductive paint"), the static electricity generated inside the case is corona discharged from this conductive paint layer and reduces the charge on the cassette case. This will prevent this.

A supply reel (4) and a take-up reel (5) are installed inside the case, and an ink ribbon (6) is guided from the supply reel (4) to a required guide roller (7), which is installed on the outer surface of the case. The running path of the ink ribbon is configured such that the ink ribbon reaches the take-up reel (5) after being exposed to the print head insertion recess (8). In addition, in the middle of the travel route, in order to apply pack tension to the ink ribbon (6) and stabilize the travel, a brake material (10) attached to the tip of the elastic piece (9) and a brake material (10) attached to the case body (2) are used. Posts (11) hanging vertically from the bottom are arranged so as to sandwich the ink ribbon (6).

As described above, the present invention prevents the cassette case from being charged by a simple method of applying a paint containing conductive fibers to the inner surface of the cassette case, thereby inflicting an electric shock on the user who touches the cassette case. Accidents such as malfunction or damage to the device to which a given recassette case is attached can be eliminated, and the objective can be achieved without increasing costs as in the past. Furthermore, application of conductive paint is extremely advantageous because it is easy to work with and has little effect on the shape of the cassette case.
