のロール紙軸方向の両側壁面に発光素子と受光素
子を相対向させて複数個配設し、ロール紙の使用
に伴つて変化するロール径の変化に対応して受光
素子の受ける光の有無によりロール紙の残量を検
出することを特徴とするロール紙残量検出装置。 (2) 前記ロール紙が前記収納部内に遊挿される
とともにその先端部を一方向に常時引かれ、ロー
ル紙の使用に伴つてその中心位置が変化し、前記
発光素子と受光素子が該ロール紙の中心位置の変
化とロール径の変化に対応してロール紙の残量を
検出できる位置に配設されたことを特徴とする請
