As one solution to this problem, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 50-41341 discloses that unit panels such as sashes or curtain walls, which are installed as a complete unit on a building frame, are provided with a recess for storing an air conditioner in advance. A configuration is shown in which the air conditioner is integrated into the unit panel by inserting a standard air conditioner into this recess.

The publication also discloses a specific configuration in which the air conditioner main body is installed below the unit panel so that the lower surface of the main body is in contact with the floorboard. According to this configuration, the refrigerant piping between the outdoor unit and the air conditioner main body (not shown) and the drain hose can be stored under the floorboard, that is, under the floor. However, if the air conditioner body is installed above the unit panel so as to be separated from the floorboard, the refrigerant pipes and drain hoses wrapped with insulation material will hang down from the air conditioner body, spoiling the aesthetic appearance from the indoor side.

Therefore, it is as simple as inserting the indoor unit 1 into the mounting space 12b of the door frame member 12 disposed on the partition wall 14 and fixing the frame 2 of the indoor unit 1 to the door frame member 12 with the mounting screws 28. The embedded air conditioner can be installed inside the partition wall 14 by a simple operation, and maintenance and inspection work can also be performed by simply removing the front panel 3 and the shielding member. Furthermore, the interior material 14a provided on the surface of the partition wall 14 that partitions the room can be replaced without moving the indoor unit 1, making it extremely easy to remodel the living space. Furthermore, since the indoor unit 1 does not protrude into the living space, the living space can be used effectively.
It is disposed in a groove 12d carved on the door contact surface 12c-1 of the door contact surface 12c-1 of the door 2c and along the column part, and the open surface of the groove 12d is covered with a removable packing member 13. Therefore, the drain hose 9 is hidden by the packing member 13, and a shielding member 16 is detachably provided above the indoor unit frame 12-2 and within the partition wall 14 to cover the pipe connection space 15. The piping is hidden by a shielding member 16,
The resulting interior space is also very aesthetically pleasing.

As mentioned above, the door frame member 1 arranged on the partition wall
When the indoor unit 1 installed in the indoor unit 2 is operated, the blower 5 is driven, and the air in the room A flows in from the suction port 3a at the top of the front surface, exchanges heat with the heat exchanger 6 into the ventilation path 4, and passes through the air outlet 3b. It is blown out into the room A. By repeating this process, the room A is air-conditioned.

As described above, the present invention provides a door frame member integrally provided with a door frame portion whose lower edge extends to the floor and which forms a door mounting opening, and an indoor unit frame portion which forms an indoor unit mounting space. The indoor unit is inserted into the installation space and fixed to the indoor unit frame of the door frame member, and the drain hose connected to the indoor unit is connected to a column extending above and below the door frame. It is disposed in a groove carved on the door contact surface of the door frame member and along the pillar part, and the open surface of the groove is covered with a removable packing member. In addition, since the shielding member that covers the pipe connection space is removably provided within the partition wall, the drain hose is hidden by the packing member and the piping is hidden by the shielding member, resulting in an effect that does not impair the aesthetic appearance from the inside. There is. What's more, the drain hose can be replaced simply by removing the removable packing member.
